The cavitation failure of the overcurrent components in the parts of the hydropower unit is the main failure mode. The area to be repaired mainly occurs at the water inlet side, and the local thickness is large, and the amount of cavitation is large. It is mainly concentrated on the stainless steel plate material on the sealing surface.

We use laser cladding technology to repair the blades. Compared with traditional surfacing welding, laser cladding has much less heat accumulation. During the cladding process, the parts maintain good rigidity and are not easy to deform. Corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant materials have good comprehensive properties, good combination with the substrate, corrosion resistance and impact resistance. Erosion and abrasion performance is significantly better than the substrate, and the hardness of the laser-molded cladding layer is about 50HRC.
