MobiMRO-2 is the second generation of mobile laser cladding equipment developed by Huirui. The design concept is to reduce the response time to customer needs. Facilities needed for laser cladding are integrated and
delivered to the customer site by special vehicles. On arrival at the customer site, the cladding system can quickly
get ready for work. After work completion, the system can be disassembled and delivered to next working site. MobiMRO-2 can greatly save labor cost and site cost for
customers and increase the working efficiency remarkably.

The mobile laser cladding equipment consists of two major parts: the front actuator and the back-end devices.
The front actuator comprises a multi-axis industrial robot, a vehicle an electric control system, a powder feeder, a laser cladding head, and a powder nozzle; The back-end includes a high power fiber laser, a water cooler, a power supply box, and bottles of shielding gas. The same industrial robot can also connect to grinding tools so that the laser clad surface can be ground and polished. As an optional modular, a positioner can work together with the robot through bus control.
For on-site repair of big parts, especially those that cannot be disassembled and transported, mobile laser cladding equipment is nearly the only choice for high-quality additive repair.
The application of the equipment solves the rapid repair problem that is critical for the continuous and reliable operation of large-scale equipments. There is no need to dissemble the parts to be repaired, no part transportation and no re-installation. That is a big saving on labor cost and repair time. Further, downtime caused by repair is reduced so the overall benefit brought by this novel equipment is tens or even hundreds of times greater than that of traditional repair methods.
Remaining all the
advantages of mobile laser cladding equipment, MobilMRO-2 is an overall upgrade
to its previous version.
